holy shit I havent updated in a REALLY long time. Well, HELLO! lol I dont really know what to say on here..my summer is been, for the most part, really good. I was in Boston the first few weeks of July. I was at the Boston Conservatory for a Vocal Program. I met some pretty amazing teachers, and people. (I miss you AK!) I learned a lot about myself as a musician, a performer, and also as a person. I realized that I dont need certain people in my life, and that there ARE people in the world that dont suck, contrary to popular belief in Carteret. I really hope thats where I get into college. I have also decided that this IS what I'm doing with my life, no matter what. So come next fall, I will be persueing a BFA in Musical Theater at any school that will take me, but hopefully at BoCo. After I came home from that (not willingly) I had to go to Drum Major Camp (ALSO not willingly).. IT WAS HELLLLL the worst week of my life, for more reasons than one..BUT unlike OTHER people that shall remain NAMELESS, I dont feel the need to spread my personal business on a LiveJournal--im not corny. Sorry. Anyways, I ended up leaving early because Matt Coffman passed away at home, and I wanted to be there at the wake for Janai, and also because I just think its respectful.. I mean I didnt KNOW him, but I had been in his prescence and Damaris and I used to be pretty close, and I just wanted to be there. So I went. The next week was Rambler Band Camp..OH MAN we are gonna rock this year! I dont care how much of a Band Fag I sound like right now, that was the best Band Camp I've ever been involved with. They marched the whole show the last day AND PLAYED IT! Ohh man..im excited for the season. And Janai joined the band..I love her. Thank God cuz I need someone to keep me sane. Thats not true..I have Nick and Karen too..and Lavada..lol. Phew..after THAT came intense rehearsals for Jesus Christ Superstar, which opened last weekend. This is one of the most talented casts I have ever worked with. They are amazing, and Im really gonna miss them after this weekend is up... COME SEE!! Tomorrow, Sat and Sun..email me for info!! Im 17 now, too. Im really pissed that Aida is closing, and even more pissed that Little Shop already closed..that show is so amazing, and so was that production, and Im mad b/c I wanted Seymour to be my debut Broadway performance..ohh well..Wow, this summer was pretty eventful. There was also an underlying bed of DrAmA which cannot be avoided as, unfortunately, I am still in high school..but I'm happy to report that I have tried to stay drama free, and also tried to remain a good friend to those that need help through the drama, on both sides of it. SCHOOL IS IN ONE WEEK.. i cant wait..because every day in school is a day less. lol OMG i forgot to say that me and Janai are taking tap dancing lessons starting next week in antcipation for CHS 2004-2005 musical, Crazy For You! lol..we're gonna be crazy in a dance class..i cant wait. AHH this has been too long already. Bye

So, the holidays are rolling around AGAIN! The telltale signs are beginning to occur..the old holiday reruns..(A Christmas Story, Its A Wonderful Life, Miracle on 34th Street..you all know the deal), the CHS musical is now in full swing (its West Side Story, btw, and I am playing Tony!! Ask me for more info!!), radio stations are playing NOTHING but Christmas music, and the malls are PACKED..not to mention the mountains of snow outside right now, and those delightful Gingerbread Lattes at Starbucks(that they should DEFINITELY keep even after the holidays!), and so..since all the rest of the signs are here, I figured I would finish the pre-holiday times with this annual list of things that no one will ever buy me..lol

Well.. it sure has been awhile, huh? SO..recap..even with the tech week from hell, we managed to open! AND the show was and will be amazing!! Everyone really pulled together..thats why I love these people. Then, all week I did nothing! LOL until yesterday when I went to NYC with Ashley..yes I went more-or-less alone! We went to try our luck at the RENT lottery, which we didnt win, but luckily they have 35 dollar tix in the mezzanine! so we saw the show anyway. EXTENSIVE RENT REVIEW is about to happen!! |

Hey! Today was a rather eventful day...Started with the denteest, got a temporary crown which is REALLY annoying. THEN, Me and Sarah went to the mall with Nan to find Spandex Biker Shorts to creep up my front..lol No really..i need them for my Pippin costume. Then Tyler and Maria came over because they're both doing crew for Pippin..i love them both for that. Then Sarah went home to go to Gibbs and me, Tyler, Maria, Jay and Ashley went to rehearsal. WE HAVE A THEATER!! Hurray.. This show is gonna be awesome. The set should be complete by tomorrow, and we open on FRIDAY!! ...We didnt do much at rehearsal, we learned bows...ALEX ONISH..I will get it right I swear. There was much setbuilding and loading to be had, but not for me. Elyse and I headed off to a corner of the sky..oops..lol..school and sang our hearts out. FIDAY NITE: NO AUDITION-we decided that it was TOO far to drive to EVERY DAY! so no hard feeling there, I got to see the wonderful Sheilla Marie Telo in JOSEPH which was pretty damn good. I love that bathing cap Sheiller!
SATURDAY: Pippin rehearsal 11-6 HURRAY! I love this show and all the people in it..we are having SO much fun together. THEN i WENT to Louisas party!! RAY-HOO!! it was so much fun. I confessed to Amy and Jess that I only did the show b/c they were doing it and that I am gonna follow Amy to EVERYTHING she does.LOL

Hey again.. I have vowed to write in this thing on a somewhat regular basis...Well, what to say what to say... I guess I could start with Rocky. I quit. Yes, quit. I just dont want to do it anymore, thats all. No offense, but I need more time to do REAL theater, instead of sitting in a smokefilled basement with a bunch of people whom (with a few exceptions..all those from Carteret, Nani, Amanda, Nikki and Nicole) I CANNOT STAND!! So yea.. thats that. Onto better things..well not really. Tonite was graduation...SO SAD!! =( ALL of my friends are seniors and Im never gonna see them again!! Im gonna have absolutely NO friends next year. =( BE MY FRIEND SOMEONE! But CONGRATS TO THEM ALL !! Kristy, Tyler, Ant, Sarah, Jay, Ashley, Elisa, and the rest of the class of 2003! Then I busted on over to Pippin rehearsal..always a pleasure. Well.. im fairly upset. I just typed an enormously long entry that explained EVERYTHING thats happened to me since last time. Im too pissed to even retype it. Look for it at a future date. Today was boring..uggh. My geometry teacher was out today though..yay me! I usually don't bother going to class when he is out, but today no one told me so I walked in unsuspectingly and i had to sit there for an hour doing nothing..which was almost as boring as the actual class. I'm also starting to not like Wind Ensemble more and more..oh well. Tomorrow is senior take over day and Kristy is being our band director and she shares my feelings, so I am sure we won't be doing much. Thats all for now...OH YEA! Buffy is new tonite (HURRAY!) ..theres only 5 episodes left =(..oh well Bye! |

Well.. today was one hell of a day. School went by slower than ever, and then I had to sit through 6 hours of friggin jazz band competition...well I didnt actually watch the other bands, but sitting in the cafeteria was just as boring. I swear for a while time was actually going backwards..really. Anyway, Im home now, but I still have to do a lot of homework...bleh. Thats it.. nothing exciting today... |
